After successfully being offered InnovateUK funding as part of the Faraday Challenge, William Blythe are delighted to announce that they will be starting a new project as part of an eight party collaboration. Over the course of two years, the consortium will work together to develop the expertise required to create a UK supply chain for battery materials. The consortium will be led by AGM Batteries who have a cell manufacturing plant in Scotland. The partners will work on different aspects of the supply chain, focussing on their own core strengths to accelerate the development of the required UK capabilities. William Blythe will be working on the development of electrode materials, bringing their extensive expertise in the development, optimisation and manufacture of inorganic materials.

William Blythe are looking forward to collaborating with all partners on this project; by drawing on the expertise held by the consortium, the team are confident that this project will be a success for not only the partners but also the UK economy.
